Dear Voices of Hope,

We are calling all singers!  Have you already been singing with Voices of Hope?  We’re excited for you to join us again.  Are you new?  Please feel free to contact me to learn more about our Desert Hope choral ministries.  Also, please be sure to tell a friend about choir — what a great way to get involved!

The Music

Voices of Hope will sing as a part of the Easter Sunday service on April 5, 2026 at 9:30AM.  I am excited to minister together with you on this celebration of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead!  The choir will sing Alleluia by William Boyce (1710-1779).  This piece is based on a single tune that is sung in canon by all four voice parts.  As the different voice parts come in, the harmonies become increasingly beautiful.

Additionally, the choir will sing two congregational songs together with the Praise Team.

The Schedule

Below is our rehearsal schedule.  Since there are only four full-group rehearsals total, we ask that you make every effort to join us for all four.  If for any reason it turns out that you end up not being able to make it to at least three of the four, you would not be able to participate in the choir presentation this time around.

  • Rehearsal #1:  Wednesday, March 11, 7:15-8:15PM 
  • Rehearsal #2:  Wednesday, March 18, 7:15-8:15PM
  • Rehearsal #3:  Wednesday, March 25, 7:15-8:15PM
  • Rehearsal #4:  Wednesday, April 1, 7:15-8:15PM
  • Sound Check:  Sunday, April 5, 8:30AM
  • Service:  Sunday, April 5, 9:30AM
